Our History

Founded in 1911 by Albert A. Frost, Sr., the company originally operated in downtown San Diego for over 80 years. In 1991, Frost Hardwood relocated to its current facility on Miramar Road, consolidating operations into a seven-acre distribution and milling center. This expansion allowed the company to enhance its inventory, improve efficiency, and expand custom milling capabilities.
